Programs

Step inside the creative worlds that power our community!

From miniature city blocks to cinematic photography, legendary cosplayers, and industry voices. AFCC’s programs celebrate imagination in every form.

Industry Panels

Hear directly from the creators shaping the future of our hobby. AFCC’s panel lineup features toy designers, brand leaders, comic artists, writers, publishers, and even newcomers from unexpected fields—athletes, entertainers, and creatives exploring the world of collectibles.

These sessions offer insights, behind-the-scenes stories, and a look at what’s coming down the pipeline. Whether you’re a collector, a creator, or simply curious, the panels deliver inspiration and inside knowledge you can’t find anywhere else.

PANEL SCHEDULE - COMING SOON

Diorama City Block Display

Step into a handcrafted world built by six of Toronto’s most talented diorama artists. Together, they’re constructing an entire city block—each structure uniquely designed, detailed, and weathered to capture the true essence of urban storytelling.

This collaborative build will be showcased exclusively at AFCC, bringing together towering buildings, gritty alleyways, and cinematic streetscapes that highlight the individual style and craftsmanship of every artist involved.

AFCC Toy Photography Gallery

Featuring over 40+ toy photographers from around the world, the AFCC Photo Gallery celebrates the art of storytelling through action figures. Each frame captures cinematic moments, emotional portraits, and heroic scenes that blur the line between toy and reality.

All displayed photographs will be raffled at the event to raise money for charity, with full details to be announced soon. It’s a global showcase of creativity coming together for a meaningful cause.

COSPLAY FUNWALK

Meet the heroes, villains, and icons who step off the page and into real life. Cosplayers at AFCC bring beloved characters to life with passion, creativity, and incredible attention to detail—making them an essential part of the convention experience.

This year, AFCC is excited to welcome Toronto Game Expo, joining us to support our Cosplay Funwalk and elevate the celebration of creativity within our community. Alongside the funwalk, AFCC will host a special cosplay competition where, while every cosplayer is a winner in our eyes, three standout participants will walk away with something special to commemorate their performance and craftsmanship.

Event & Cosplay Photography by rotidemedia

AFCC is proud to welcome @rotidemedia as our official event photographer, capturing the energy, artistry, and unforgettable moments of the convention.

Cosplayers will have the opportunity to get professional portraits on-site, highlighting their suits, armor, makeup, and character performances in stunning detail. Beyond cosplay, Rotide Media will also provide full event coverage—panels, vendors, crowds, dioramas, and everything that makes AFCC a world of its own.

Autographs & Meet-the-Heroes

AFCC brings you closer to the real-life heroes behind the characters and creations you love. Meet artists, voice actors, directors, athletes, and other influential figures who help shape the worlds of toys, comics, film, and pop culture.

Get signatures, share stories, and make lasting memories with the people who inspire your imagination.

Live Sculpting & Real-Life Statues

Experience creativity in motion with live sculpting and real-time artistic showcases happening throughout the event. Watch professionals shape characters from raw material, add breathtaking details, and bring statues to life right before your eyes.

These interactive demonstrations are designed for all ages—offering inspiration, education, and a deeper appreciation for the craftsmanship that fuels our community.

AFCC RAMEN EATING CONTEST

Get ready for the ultimate showdown where anime energy meets serious appetite. The AFCC Ramen Eating Contest brings together fans, fighters, and food lovers for a high-energy battle of speed, stamina, and pure noodle domination. Hosted by @megajayretro and presented by Anime Shogatsu, this fan-favorite event is packed with hype, laughs, and unforgettable moments straight out of an anime brawl.

Whether you’re stepping up to compete or cheering from the crowd, expect bold flavors, fierce competition, and big convention vibes. Only one champion will rise — so grab a seat, bring the energy, and serve the ramen at Action Figure Comic Con.

AFCC TOY
PHOTOGRAPHY
WORKSHOP

AFCC is excited to welcome Terrell Comix, toy photographer and visual storyteller, to the very first Action Figure Comic Con!

Appearing under his Instagram name Terrell Comix, Jeff approaches toy photography as a form of visual storytelling — using action figures to create mood, emotion, and narrative in a single frame. His work focuses on making toys feel alive, cinematic, and grounded in story rather than spectacle.
